Community interest

Public value is part of the brief.

As a community interest company, LUNISOLAR exists to use creative activity for community benefit. We are at an early stage, so our commitments are specific and our claims stay modest.

Our commitments

Access. Agency. Accountability.

These are the lenses we intend to use when developing projects, choosing partners and reviewing whether the work is doing what it says.

01

Access

Use clear language, responsive and accessible formats, low-friction participation and privacy-conscious choices wherever practical.

02

Agency

Give people meaningful choices, respect authorship and avoid presenting a tool’s feedback as an unquestionable authority.

03

Accountability

State what a project does, what information it uses and where it falls short. Learn from feedback and update the work.

A first working example

Headline Hero puts restraint into the product.

The app helps people practise a creative skill without needing an account, subscription, internet connection or cloud service. It provides explainable, rule-based feedback while making clear that disagreement is part of learning.

That is one version of community value: a useful practice tool that respects attention, ownership and privacy.

Ownership

Your words are yours

The app asserts no licence, claim or right over anything a user writes.

Privacy

Nothing sent away

No internet permission, accounts, analytics, trackers or cloud uploads.

Clarity

Feedback with reasons

Five visible lenses make the review easier to understand and question.

Access

Practice anywhere

All briefs and review logic are included for offline use on the device.

We will describe outcomes when we have evidence—not before.

Transparency commitment

Reporting honestly

Commitments first. Evidence next.

LUNISOLAR CIC was incorporated in April 2026. This website does not claim a long history or publish invented impact numbers.

As projects develop, we intend to report useful evidence proportionate to the work: who could access it, what people did, what they told us, what changed and what we would do differently.

  • Separate outputs from outcomes
  • Use feedback with consent and context
  • Avoid collecting personal information without a clear need
  • Publish material limitations alongside results

Help us improve

Accountability needs a reply route.

If something we make creates a barrier, handles information unclearly or fails to support the community value it promises, we want to hear about it.

Community value grows through useful conversation.
