1. Our commitment
LUNISOLAR CIC wants this website to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including people who use keyboards, screen readers, voice input, magnification or device accessibility settings.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA and to treat accessibility as part of design and maintenance rather than a one-time check.
2. What the site is designed to support
- Semantic headings, landmarks, labels and link text
- A skip link that moves directly to main content
- Keyboard operation for navigation, theme controls, FAQs and the Headline Hero demo
- Visible keyboard focus indicators
- Text that can reflow and resize without requiring horizontal scrolling at common mobile widths
- Light and dark colour themes with strong contrast
- Reduced motion when the device requests it
- Content that remains readable without JavaScript; interactive enhancements require JavaScript
- Print styling for legal pages
3. Conformance status and known limitations
This initial version has been designed toward WCAG 2.2 AA and checked for keyboard access, responsive reflow, labelled controls and reduced-motion support. It has not yet received an independent accessibility audit or comprehensive testing across every assistive technology and browser combination.
Motion control: the animated ticker on two pages stops when it receives keyboard focus, when a pointer hovers over it or when the operating system’s “reduce motion” setting is enabled.
The decorative visual compositions use CSS and are either described as a whole or hidden from assistive technology where they add no content. The main information is always provided in text.
4. Report an accessibility barrier
If you cannot access information or complete an action, email support@lunisolar.website with “Accessibility problem” in the subject, or call +44 7784 555 950.
If possible, include:
- the page address or page title;
- what you were trying to do;
- what happened;
- your browser, device or assistive technology, if you are comfortable sharing it; and
- the format or adjustment that would help.
We will acknowledge useful accessibility feedback and aim to provide the information in an alternative format where reasonably possible.
5. Preparation and review
This statement was prepared on 24 July 2026 for the first version of the LUNISOLAR CIC website. It should be reviewed after material design or content changes, after an accessibility audit, or when significant feedback identifies a new barrier.
